MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) is part of the Best Practice Guidance portfolio published by the Cabinet Office. APMG-International manages the Accreditation and Qualifications schemes based on this guidance.

MSP represents proven programme management good practice in the successful delivery of transformational change through the application of programme management. MSP defines programme management as "the action of carrying out the coordinated organisation, direction and implementation of a dossier of projects and transformational activities to achieve outcomes and realise benefits of strategic importance to the business".

There are four examination levels within the scheme:

• Foundation Examination
• Practitioner Examination
• Advanced Practitioner Examination
• Re-Registration Examination
